Our study examined adolescent bullying. We were interested in seeing if there was a relationship between adolescent bullying and the mental well-being of college-aged students. To assess this hypothesis, a survey was distributed to Muhlenberg College students. Participants answered questions regarding their previous experiences with bullying during adolescence (ages 12 to 18), and also took depression, anxiety, and psychosocial functioning scales. Results will be discussed on Psychology Day.
Great presentation! I was one of the participants of this study so it was very interesting to see the results you all received! This is a very interesting topic and I would be curious to see this taken to a larger scale with more diverse participants. I also wonder if, beyond adolescence, there is any impact to bullying in childhood as well.
